QUINTRELL JERSEYS

"Where pedigree promise meets commercial efficiency!"

NEWS
  • JUNE 2021 - it's been a while since we have updated things but we've been through the site and think the cows and pedigrees are up to date. It has, I am pleased to say involved adding a lot of EX scores to cows, both new and multiples but it shows our breeding programme is paying off.
None more so than yesterday when Mike Deakin came to classify the herd in their new home at Carwen Farm - we were delighted that our current herd favourite Quintrell Reagan Scarlet became one of the few EX96 point cows in the breed, when she scored EX95 Mammary, EX95 Feet and Legs, EX97 Rump, EX97 Dairy Character and EX97 Dairy Capacity - making her EX96-5E in her 7th lactation and following her dam who was also a breed leading EX95-7E legend.
  • Other herd classification highlights include a whopping 80 EX cows in total and 15 VG heifers yesterday, while our 2 year olds averaged over 83 points with a massive 69 scored. HAPPY DAYS...
